Malcolm’s Story

Dr Malcolm de Budé, BSc BVSc MRCVS CCRP CVA is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM) and a member of the world association of TCVM and was drawn to this line of work through his love of studying animal behaviour. Dr de Budé has received a host of local and international veterinary related awards for his work.

After spending many years overseas and in Johannesburg, he moved to Ballito and has been successfully improving pet quality of life at his Ballito Veterinary Sport Behaviour and Medicine (BVSBM) practice at Willow Park. He has decades of experience working both in South Africa and internationally, which he now uses to help pets on the North Coast.

Taking an integrated approach, Dr de Budé provides state of the art physical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, pain control, sports medicine, conditioning, weight control, pet geriatric wellness, acupuncture, behavioural veterinary medicine, and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM) including acupuncture.

He strives to practice quality medicine while building real relationships with pets and pet parents in the area. His two main priorities which he will not compromise on include: making sure your pet is not in pain and ensuring that your pet does not suffer.
